EVERY SITUATION CAN BE RESOLVED IF YOU MAKE CHANGES.

We all tend to repeat our patterns of behaviour and get the same results. Our internal programming is often completed in childhood and some of those unconscious triggers are limiting or less appropriate as we progress as adults.
A discussion with a good therapist enables your unconscious to listen to your present needs. Hypnosis, skillfully applied, can negotiate with your unconscious to make appropriate changes.
This holistic approach aligns your inner programmes, unlocks limiting beliefs and unleashes your true potential.
Milton Erickson was a leader in indirect hypnosis and was the inspiration for Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) as his methods were observed by Bandler and Grinder.
Stephen Brooks use of indirect hypnosis was magnificent and its well worth tracking down any of his training videos if you can find them.

Dave Elman used a direct hypnosis, which is more rapid and is a great way to get things done and ask the unconscious to make changes. Training included pain control, hypno-healing and investigating stage hypnosis with the great Ormond McGill.
To test the pain control, I used it with self-hypnosis to have root canal dentistry without anaesthetic. Fortunately it worked, the dentist kept pausing and asking if I was sure I was ok saying "This must be hurting."

If YOU NEVER CHANGE YOUR MIND WHY DO YOU HAVE ONE?
- Harshit Walia
When you apply your powerful imagination to solve a problem, life becomes much easier.
When your intention and imagination are in conflict, your imagination always wins.
By speaking to a good therapist, you can change your mind. This can be done with a psychotherapist doing deep, long term work, or a faster solution can be acheived with hypnosis.
A psychotherapist will encourage long term sessions to prevent a situation emerging elsewhere if the deeper issue hasn't been resolved by fast therapy.

I have worked with children when their parent or guardian has been present. Children have lively imaginations so they can respond really well to hypnosis, however as their brains are not fully developed hypnosis is not something I'd always recommend. Every situation is unique, so I would need to discuss the issue with a parent and be certain the young person wishes to experience hypnosis with their parent present.
I do work with teenagers and hypnosis can be helpful for anxiety, exam nerves, lack of confidence and general self-esteem issues. It is not appropriate to work with anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol, nor anyone who is being pressurised to attend a session.
Each appointment lasts 50 minutes. The first session sets the scene with a brief chat about hypnosis so you know what to expect, feel safe and trust the therapist. In the first session, if you have any concerns you are free to leave, without charge, in the first five minutes.
Subsequent appointments include a review of the time between sessions and defining the objectives for the therapy.
Generally my work is through individual one to one therapy. I would consider allowing a family member to be present if it didn't limit a client from expressing themselves openly. I don't specialise in conflict resolution or mediation so that sort of group work is best done elsewhere.
I will speak to groups about hypnosis and have done this as an after-dinner speaker and will talk to golfers in groups at their golf club.
